2017 Dates Level 1
A sophisticated system for healing that addresses illnesses that are both physical and spiritual in origin. This ancient Mayan treatment has been practiced by healers for thousands of years, passed down through the generations from midwives, healers and shamans.Mayan Massage, a unique tradition of abdominal/uterine massage is an external, non evasive manipulation using the hands to reposition the uterus, that may have shifted due to trauma, childbirth just to name a few. When the uterus is out of alignment it can restrict the flow of blood, lymph, nerves and overall vital force. There are over 32 symptoms that can manifest from a displaced uterus. This realignment of the uterus addresses such conditions as painful periods, hormonal imbalances, fibroids, lowback pain, and urinary tract infections and infertility. This class is useful for massage practitioners , doulas, midwives, healers or just if you want to maintain the health of your and your families uterus or prostate and digestive organs. We will also demonstrate and discuss some techniques of pulse diagnosis, prayer, massage and herbs that support this form of healing.
